We Are a Litany of Light.
Does the sky need to defend that its color is blue?
We are a litany of light, and trust is in learning to distinguish God’s loving mentoring over our own vain glory advice. The voice compelling us to act can sound the same, so a way to know the difference is to take the risk in journeying forward despite uncertainty and thereby be able to, not just know the difference, but to experience the difference in what is yielded; win, lose or draw.
If going forward yields suffering in vain, it is our own voice.
If going forward yields suffering with wisdom, it is God’s voice.
If going forward yields a joy but it comes the expense of many other’s diminishing their own light from within to shine outside validation to that one person, it is ego which in times of crises leads to fear. This is a despair that, not only, victimizes the one person consuming the light within from others but also, takes down all those within that one person’s sphere because they have sacrificed their own light to the vanity of another and therefore diminished the clarity to experience wisdom.
If going forward yields a joy that can share a boundless light that glows from within that because it is self-evident there is no court of public opinion, offering outside validation, that can add or subtract from the brightness within, then it is God’s voice advising us towards a joy that cannot, and does not fade. Rather, the proof its integrity is divine, is when this light is seen and experienced as its own reward and thereby can actually brighten in the face of derision because this light is not manmade. It is a share in the perpetual light, which is the source of nourishment for all without needing to consume light from other’s.
The ability to distinguish our voice from God is only in going forward and experience what the risk yields. But win, lose or draw, the love of God will always be there to share in our elation, offer consolation, and be the only voice of worthy contemplation.
